I played a quick game with Jerry the Mouse, and Dyllan there. I destroyed them however the map was a ton of fun. If you don't want to go straight at the closest enemy, then you can save up turns to go the long way to the next enemy. In all seriousness, this may be my new favorite map, even better than Europe and the US perhaps. |

Anyone have any opinions about the other new maps (Czech Republic, Poland, Montenegro*, and Southern Europe), or more opinions about the Bahamas? * = is a non-subscription map |

Not yet, I am hosting each of these games currently though for day/12 hour turns. |

I rather dislike the Bahamas map, probably just because I suck though :P. But I did get destroyed so that might have something to do with me not liking it, maybe once I win one my opinion will change. |

Any other opinions about the new maps, including the Vietnam map that was added after the rest listed above? |

Poland, Montenegro and Czech Republic are all surprisingly fun, even with large numbers of people. Southern Europe seems to be a flop, but I should experiment more before I commit to that. Vietnam looked fun at first, but Whoever takes their turn first in the North gets a large amount of territories, and same in the South, while the middle can only grab one or two per turn. I will have to grind on Vietnam to see how balanced it is but the distances between territories may be what kills it. |

So Vietnam actually ends up mirroring reality ... two states emerge; a North Vietnam and a South Vietnam, with whomever is more lucky and clever (as opposed to who has the backing of the population versus who really doesn't but is propped up by foreign powers) ends up unifying the country. |
