Dear Admin, As a player of this game, who has donated 4 times ( $30+) even during these times of little activity, I feel the community of players, and I deserve some kind of communication. This is hands down my favorit internet game, and I have played for more time on here than I would like to know. I plan on spending more money on this game because I beleive it is worth it, however I don't feel as though we are getting the proper attention that we as paying customers would expect from any other service provider. May you please tell the community what your plans are regarding the future of ToG? Even if you have not committed to a version 2, can you tell us if a shutdown is likely? If money is the issue, can you let us know? I am pretty sure that an organized drive coulkd produce sufficient funds to motivate you to work on this fantastic project. the problem however, is that we don't know what you are thinking. Could you please tell us? We love this game, and we want to continue playing it, and that means supporting it as well. Sincerely, Icadil on behalf of at least a mob of other players |

I am in agreement with Icadil. Presently I am not in a position to be making a donation for a premium account (too busy to play regularly), but if I was, I'd request more certainty about the state of the game before I were to do so. I asked similar questions earlier (This forum thread), and would still like to know more about what is being planned (if anything) for ToG in the future. |

I had plans a while back to work on a version 2 of ToG but those plans have been put on hold for various reasons. I'm at a point now where I think that enough exists in the current version of ToG, plus a few additions here and there, that the game is pretty solid as it stands. I don't want to give up on the idea of a version 2 eventually, but I think for now I'm just going to focus on improvements to the existing game as I have time to add them. One thing that I don't have planned is to shut down the game. As long as there are people still playing the game, and there are, then I will do my best to keep it going. |

See Icadil's response above ^. Glad to know a shut down is not likely so long as people are playing and that you'll be by occasionally to check in on the game and user suggestions to improve it. |
