 I would love the ability to pay for a color. bviously I wouldn't be able to choose from the default colors but something different enough to be my own, and distinct.

What I was thinking was that the $20 packages could include, or maybe even for 5 more dollars we could also buy an exclusive color that only we could use. This would certainly raise the incentive to donate, and it allows the donaters a little more than the award next to their name to let people know they are keeping the game alive with donations.

So admin could have a list of colors that would be crossed out as people pick them. We could do it two ways: 1. We buy the color permanently, or 2. we rent the color. Or we could do both where buying the color outright would cost some 30 dollars and rentng would be like $2.50 a month.

What do people think?/discuss and debate

 I like the idea of having a color associated with a General. I'm not sure how this suggestion could be implemented but it would be a welcome upgrade.

Hater of politicizing.
 I also like this idea, although I think subtle color differences may be too hard to see and people would not be able to associate it with you...

Perhaps a color scheme would be better. Something like making your own flag (Green and purple lines or stripes, for example). THAT is something I would probably be willing to pay for.

 I don't see an issue with it so long as the colors remain easily differentiable - I'd rather not have to try to sort between pink, purple, and mauve.

Although, if it were up to me, I'd choose to put my effort into making additional maps for the game of both the standard and premium access types so that there is more variety and more people remain interested when a second version comes out.

 I wouldn't mind seeing a more advanced version of this idea, such as a personal flag or emblem, but it certainly wouldn't be high on the list of priorities.

I have to agree with Niels on this.
