Ya can someone please tell me when version 2 will come out?.................. because this was a wiked fun game and now its randomly shut down and i really would like to play it again soon.

thats not really reliable i dnt feel like checking everyday....at least put up the old 1 untill #2 comes

 The reason version 1 came down, is because the game was not funding itself. therefore, it was pulled offline, and will remain offline until a reworked version is decided upon, and said version has been coded.

Therefore, there is no release date, it will be released when a better version is coded and ready. While you may argue that the first version was good, it wasn't good enough to get peoples money, at least to the point where the game could live on its own funds. $20 every 6 months from the odd player isn't enough to support forums, servers, and the software used to code the game.

Like said, just keep checking the forums, being active, and participate in the version 2 discussions, and hopefully we can get a version of this game that everyone will support.

I've actually been thinking about doing this. I recently moved the site to a shared server so that I can pool resources together to help cover server expenses. An overhaul of ToG is still in its planning phase but it wouldn't hurt to open up the old version while we wait, to fill the time...

well it says my account was banned for some reason when it worked the day u shut down the site...it wont let me make a new 1 either

 actualy.. i have an idea.. there is a game called europa universalis i think if we conbine aspects of this game into that one, this game could take off.

if u want i can help co design the game above /\ and u can put the engin to the lay out i form

I took a look at it, and the trailer, although it does look kinda neat, I couldn't see tour of generals and that game mixed.
