As a Tog player (or a wargame player), what kind of predator do you feel that you are?
And what kind of predator you reckon other players think you are?

Usually I start out slow, like a whale. But as the game progresses and I get more territories, I become more like that of a bear.

I'm like a toad. I play my unique way, if i have to hop away i do. Most of the time though, i fight strong and i'm hard to defeat. Like a battletoad.

You still active?

to stay on topic,i start out in fast games capturing terretories like a bear and then destroy the closest enemy

in long games i keep my launch turn, then if theres an enemy around me,I capture all his regions the next turn and i even capture a couple extra regions

i do that like BD,The Dragon Way

EDIT:heres what i mean in long games

i had all the balkans, and france and switzerland, but now i got my butt kicked.

id say a cheeta, because they have lots of energy and strength in the begining of a fight, then i need to rest for a while, then i can come back with force

I suppose (bump) that am more like a Python.

I watch, position myself, and use more cunning than force to win.

For instance, I just played an Asia where my opponent controlled about 68% of the map (estimate). My only territories left were Japan, North & South Korea, and Myanmar. He controlled all of the west cost, east cost, islands, basically everything other than China and Mongolia. It was a capitals game, luckily. So I left my 14 point army down in MyanMar, used all of the rest of my collections to fund an army in North Korea. I moved the Korean Army to Mongolia, didn't capture it until the first 5 minutes of the next turn (this was a 2 hour turn based game), so that he didn't get suspicious. On the same turn I captured it I collected, funded my army one more time, and moved into Russia where I beat his defending army and then made the capture and won the game. Barely, but I did win it. :)

Games like this are probably the best example I give to my playing style.
