This topic is to suggest map balance changes. If you've come across a region or a game map that you think should be modified for better game balance post here. Some possible changes include: - Region value (eg. $200) - Region bonus type (eg. soliders, tanks, artillery, all) - Region bonus amount (eg. -5%) - Default map movement range (eg. 100 miles) |

canada... notoriously slow. shares some characteristics with USA in the big west vs crowded east, but I have rarely been able to beat a player holding all the west while I hold all the east. not a good player anyway. maybe the little atlantic provinces should be worth more money, or carry a bigger bonus. I think the map movement is about right |

The north of cuba needs to be given more value, because I have never seen a game where the person who ends up taking the north beats the person in the south. |

I think Cuba is fair. Between two players the one holding the south/east has the advantage. But getting control of the south/east is harder because it has more regions and more people start there. |

I've updated the Canada and Cuba maps. Let me know if these changes help. |

Hater of politicizing.

Africa's movement range needs to be greater. I'm in the Sgt+ battles, and while 2 of them are done already, the Africa battle does not even have all of the regions captured. It is going uber-slow. I suggest the default movement be changed to 200 miles. |

On Africa Seycellis needs to have 10% off all, for sure. |

I've made a few minor changes to the Africa map but being that it is one of the 'epic' maps in size the default movement range is actually about right. It just takes longer to complete because it's such a big map. |

Russia needs a huge amount of Balance. The whole west side of the map is just no fun. I mean come on If your going to have the regions be of so little worth at least make it have some sort of bonus. People don't really even play on that side of the map because of that reason. or if they do they will always lose. It is uneven for people who join later in the game because people have already got the east side. What i am saying is that the map is worthless and pointless if it is not balalnced correctly. And i don't even see a point in it even being a choice if it just isn't fair. Edited by evil yoda, Apr 14 2009, 10:53 AM.

I think that the perfect balance would be to throw some -7% and -10% regions down south west, like 4-6 would make it worth playing. |
