In one of my recent games, I had 301 soldiers, 1 tank, 2 art., the opponent had 80 soldiers, 1 tank, and 2 art., I attacked him, and I lost 5-2. What's the deal? |

Yeah, 2-man armies are extremely cheap. I mean, how can two people kill hundreds or even thousands of enemies while losing only one soldier? Doesn't make much sense to me. It's not like he's Rambo or something. |

As has already been stated, the game uses a 'random result' feature to help decide the winner of individual battle. The battle system is built on this method, so it could not be easily removed. Somewhat random results are to be expected. Italian, the apposing army could of had more wins than you, or a nunber of various things. |

It should be added a line that does not permit an army kill more than a certain number of enemies based on the army numbers plus modifiers for experienced general and support. That would restore some of the ballance. |
